Has anyone else noticed an abundance of gorgeous embroidered floral dresses and tops this season?!

Florals? For spring? Ground breaking {insert Miranda's infamous eye roll}.

Ok, ok, so I may not be reinventing the wheel here, but I am loving the pretty floral embroidered pieces that are popping up everywhere. They definitely give off a boho chic vibe and usually contain some vibrant hues, satisfying my need to have a pop of color at all times.

There's something about wearing linen that just feels so easy and breezy.

I love how both of these dresses can be dressed up for work or down for a weekend at the beach (and I intend to wear them for both occasions all summer long).

Can you tell I'm having a moment with scarves? Dainty gold jewelry and colorful printed scarves will undoubtedly be my go to accessories this season.

The best part about the pretty scarves I'm wearing is that 100% of the proceeds will be donated to community based organizations that directly help women in need through J.Jill's Compassion Fund. 

Looking and doing good at the same time?! Sounds like a win-win in my book!

Maxi Over Jeans

Instead of waiting on spring to arrive, I decided to rework some of my new spring pieces in order to be able to wear them a little earlier in the season.

I can tell I'm going to get a ton of wear out of this pretty pink striped maxi. Unlike most of my summer maxis, I love that this one has a little sleeve - perfect for breezy summer nights down the shore. Also loving that this dress can double as a coverup for a BBQ or outdoor party. Did I mention this dress is under $30?!

I finally did something I had been thinking about for years ... I cut off my hair!  That's right, I'm all short hair don't care and LOVING it.

Also loving these new sunnies from Zaful. Perfect for the transition season and I'll definitely be wearing these well into summer. They have the cutest selection and most styles are under $10! Here are a few others that I'm loving:
