To Culotte or Not?

I've always been a huge fan of flare leg pants, and still remember fondly the last time culottes were all the rage (probably sometime in the early 2000s - yes, showing my age right now). So, you can probably imagine how happy I was when they recently made a comeback in full fashion forward force.

I'm not one to wear jeans often during the summer months - too hot and sticky in NJ - but culottes are the perfect pant alternative. If you are on the fence, try a pair and I guarantee you'll become a believer!

Bells and Scallops

I'm a woman of a few words today as I'm unpacking from a wonderful long weekend away, and already repacking for our next weekend getaway.

I've basically been living in this blouse since I got it (hence it's rumpled, wrinkled appearance - ha!). It's one of those easy pieces that can be dressed up for the office or a night out, or paired with shorts and flat sandals for Saturday errands.

Weekend Getaway

As mentioned in Monday's post, I'm currently still packing for a long weekend getaway at the beach (or as us New Jerseyans call it, 'down the shore').

This LWD will definitely be coming with me. While you won't see me wearing this short and sweet number to the office, it'll be perfect to throw on for some post-beach cocktails or a cookout with the fam.
