I always think that too much of a good thing is just the opposite ~ not a good thing. I never buy two of the same item, and I try to limit my trendy purchases. Last year I purchased two peplum tops - one in black with a short sleeve {seen here} and a sleeveless version in cream {seen here}.
After that I vowed that I had filled my peplum quota...
...until J.Crew came out with this little ponte number and I just couldn't resist. I love the fit and especially the sleeve length. I broke my rule but I'm sure I will be wearing the heck out of this top!
Totally understand you, I'm exactly like you! Too many trends on my closet is something that never happens, and the truth is that lots of times I only get addicted to a trend when it isn't already trend, and I'm really not worried about that because I have my personal style! Peplum is one of those trends that completely crushed me, and I'm thinking that it's eternal, so it was a great choice to add a third peplum to your closet!

Glad to see that J Crew peplum on a blogger - I've been eyeing it for such a long time but didn't want to take the plunge until I saw it in "real" photos, if you know what I mean. And I love it on you! It's gorgeous, and absolutely perfect for fall!
