I'm a woman of a few words today as I'm unpacking from a wonderful long weekend away, and already repacking for our next weekend getaway.

I've basically been living in this blouse since I got it (hence it's rumpled, wrinkled appearance - ha!). It's one of those easy pieces that can be dressed up for the office or a night out, or paired with shorts and flat sandals for Saturday errands.

Weekend Getaway

As mentioned in Monday's post, I'm currently still packing for a long weekend getaway at the beach (or as us New Jerseyans call it, 'down the shore').

This LWD will definitely be coming with me. While you won't see me wearing this short and sweet number to the office, it'll be perfect to throw on for some post-beach cocktails or a cookout with the fam.

Put a Bow on It

My blog posts/pictures may start to blend together at some point because as I sit her packing for a weekend at the beach, I realize that my entire summer wardrobe is comprised of blue and white (with the occasional pop of tomato red of course).

However, all of these above mentioned monotoned pieces do have their special place in my heart. This bow back blouse is no exception. I love that this dainty detail is in the back rather than in the front, making a more subtle statement.

Celebrating the arrival of summer-esque weather in this elegant bardot maxi dress. 

It's seriously the most comfortable dress and the under $20 price tag had me doing a happy dance.

Has anyone else noticed an abundance of gorgeous embroidered floral dresses and tops this season?!

Florals? For spring? Ground breaking {insert Miranda's infamous eye roll}.

Ok, ok, so I may not be reinventing the wheel here, but I am loving the pretty floral embroidered pieces that are popping up everywhere. They definitely give off a boho chic vibe and usually contain some vibrant hues, satisfying my need to have a pop of color at all times.
