Easy Breezy

Jacket:  Gap (old, similar here, here, here for under $30!), Top:  Aritzia (old, similar here), Jeans:  J.Crew (old, similar here, liking this distressed pair), Shoes:  Schutz ~ 25% off with code INTHEFAMILY14, Bag:  French Connection, Sunnies:  Ray-Ban

Easy breezy...or super breezy making picture taking a lot less easy...yea, the second one.

Happy hump day!

Shell Baby

Sweater:  Wildfox Couture c/o PB&J Boutique, Jeans:  Gap, Shoes:  Zara (old, great option here), Bag:  Forever 21 (old, very similar under $20!), Sunnies:  Forever 21 (sold out, identical here), Rings:  Amy Waltz Designs c/o PB&J Boutique, Nails:  Essie "Barefoot and Topless"

Please excuse my chapped old lady hands, but I had to show off this fabulous stack of handmade rings by Amy Waltz ~ a talented jewelry designer from Chico, CA.

This weekend marked the first really warm weekend of the year. The only way to describe the weather is absolutely glorious. I was able to finally break out some sandals and this cute open-knit beachy sweater. I spent a ton of time outside and just soaked it all in.

Hope you all had a wonderful warm weekend too ~ happy Monday!

Born Wild

Blazer:  Zara (old, similar here), Top:  Zoe Karssen, Jeans:  H&M (similar here), Shoes:  c/o Marc Fisher ~ buy them here, Bag:  French Connection, Sunnies:  Ray-Ban

I'm normally not a graphic tee kinda girl. Every time I see one that I think I like, I ask myself 'is this really the statement I want to make?' The answer is usually no, ergo the reason that I don't own many.

However, there was something about these two simple words, and the menacing looking panther that I simply couldn't resist.

...And being the daughter of a man whose nickname in college was 'The Animal', I suppose it was inevitable that I would be born wild. Don't worry, I've since been tamed.

Have a wonderful {wild} weekend!

Red and Blue

Coat:  Zara (old, similar here), Dress:  Madewell (old, great option here under $50!), Shoes:  Schutz (also here), Bag:  3.1 Phillip Lim (LOVING this gorgeous neutral color for spring!), Sunnies:  Ray-Ban

My lace-up sandal obsession continues. I had tried several pairs before settling on these. They seriously fit like a glove and are SUPER comfortable ~ the perfect spring/summer style to feed my shoe addiction.

I also have to mention how much I just adore this dress. I have worn it many many times on the blog because it's perfect for all seasons and all occasions. When I'm faced with the 'what to wear' dilemma, I reach for this easy piece 9 out of 10 times.

On that note, have a happy Monday!

Tropical Leather

Blazer:  Helmut Lang, Dress:  Topshop, Shoes:  Valentino, Bag:  French Connection, Sunnies:  Forever 21 (old, similar here)

While I've started to transition my wardrobe over to more springy pieces, I'm not quite ready to retire my winter faves just yet. Which is why I've paired this tropical dress with my leather and wool blazer. The piles of dirty snow that remain are a constant reminder that at any moment we could go back to the polar vortex.

In the meantime, I'm totally enjoying some outdoor activities and fresh air.

Happy hump day!

Lacey Lacey

Sweater:  J.Crew, Jacket:  Madewell, Top:  Madewell (old, similar here), Skirt:  Topshop (old, similar here under $30!), Shoes:  c/o WindsorStore (LOVE these too, also recently purchased these beauties), Bag:  Rebecca Minkoff, Sunnies:  Ray-Ban
I'm having a MAJOR moment with lace up heels lately {and I'm certainly not alone on this one}. I finally got to break mine in a bit more two weekends ago and I'm completely smitten.

While I am definitely no stranger to a four {and up} inch heel, the laces add extra ankle support ~ kinda like ice skates ~ making walking in them that much easier. What could be better than a sexy shoe that's comfortable and chic?!?
