Floral and Flared

Sweatshirt: H&M (old, similar option here, here, here), Skirt:  H&M (another similar option here on sale!), Bag:  Target (old, similar here), Shoes:  Schutz (sold out, LOVE this similar option), Sunnies:  Ray-Ban

Another outfit that is as comfortable as it is chic. Aka ~ the perfect Monday ensemble.

Happy Monday everyone!

Retail Therapy

Top:  J.Crew (old, LOVE this similar option), Skirt:  Topshop (old, great alternative here), Bag:  Forever 21 (similar here), Shoes:  Aquazzura, Sunnies:  Ray-Ban

I've been so busy lately that I have not had time to do much fall shopping. However, I did do a good amount of internet shopping while I was home recuperating {retail therapy really is the best medicine}.

While I wait for my new duds to arrive, I pulled out a few of my good old fall favorites.

I love how this flannel looks so perfectly matchy-matchy with the oxblood kicks.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Friday & weekend!

Dressed Up Track Pants

Blazer: Forever 21 (old, similar here), Tee:  Splendid, Pants:  Michael Stars c/o Montana Blues ~ use code MARGO15 for 15% off of their entire website!, Clutch:  J.Crew (old, similar here), Shoes:  Classiques Entier (old, simlar here, OBSESSED with this similar option), Sunnies:  Ray-Ban

It's finally feeling like fall!

I apologize for the blogging break but I had a small surgical procedure {nothing serious} last week and was feeling way under the weather.

I finally started feeling like myself again yesterday, and hope to be back to work by mid-week.

Major thanks to Montana Blues for these super comfy track pants that can easily be dressed up for an office chic look. They are the perfect choice when you really want to do is stay in your PJ's, yet are required to look dressed to the nines.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Monday.

Oops, I Did It Again

Top:  very old (identical here), Skirt:  J.Crew (not available online yet, LOVE this one), Bag:  Aldo (old, loving this embossed clutch), Shoes:  Aquazzura, Sunnies:  Ray-Ban

Channeling my inner Brittany today with this swingy skirt + white button down.

I've always been a big fan of pinstripes, so when I spotted this skirt I knew I needed to make it mine.

I paired it with my new favorite kicks to add some modern flare to the classic schoolgirl look.

Happy Monday everyone!

I had so much fun styling Gap customers and celebrating their fall campaign at their #dressnormal event on Wednesday night.

Their fall campaign focuses on black and grey denim and tons of plaid.

The best part of the collection is that it is filled with basics that can be worn together or paired with statement pieces and pops of color.

See  my favorites Gap fall finds below {these pieces may or may not have come home from the event with me}:

Gap Styling Event

Happy hump day everyone!

I'm delighted to announce that I will be hosting a styling event tonight at Gap at Willowbrook Mall in Wayne, NJ.

Please join me from 6pm-8pm for a fun night of styling, sipping and {of course} shopping!

Hope to see you all there.

Fall Essentials

Shoes:  Aquazzura

Confession: once Labor Day has passed, I start to panic about my wardrobe. I go from confidently selecting my outfit each morning, to questioning each and every article of clothing.

It's that strange in-between time when it's not exactly summer, but not quite fall yet either. And while NYFW is in full swing, the realty is that it has been 90 degrees and 100% humidity since it started last Thursday. I begin to sweat just looking at photos of bloggers and designers dressed in full fall gear on their way to shows.

A few weeks back I had a reader request for a fall essentials post. I thought this would be a great opportunity - not only to share with you some of my top picks for the season, but also to make a wardrobe wish list and put and end to the panic.

And so...

My Top Ten Fall Essentials:

coat // top // jeans // bag // dress // earrings // pumps // skirt // hat // booties

Happy Monday!

The B-List

As per my usual, at the end of each season I like to share some outfit photos that never made it to post.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Hello, September

Dress:  ASOS (old, great option here under $35!, also here, LOVE this one), Bag: c/o Lexington Company (loving this reversible option, similar here), Sandals:  Loeffler Randall (sold out, identical here under $30!), Earrings:  Baublebar, Belt:  Forever 21 (similar here), Sunnies:  Ray-Ban

While yesterday marked the unofficial end of summer, Mother Nature seems to have alternate plans. I'm so happy I didn't start packing up my summer wardrobe yet, because it's supposed to be in the 90s all week!

Looks like leather weather will have to wait for at least another week or so.

Happy TUESDAY everyone ~ gotta love a four-day work week!
