Red Topper

Coat:  J.Crew (old, similar here), Shirt:  J.Crew (old, similar here under $20), Turtleneck:  Anthropologie (old, similar here), Jeans:  Forever 21, Shoes:  Classiques Entier (old, great option here), Bag:  Forever 21, Beanie:  Free People, Rings:  c/o Berricle

As the weather outside grows more and more frightful, layers and cold weather accessories are feeling more and more delightful. Adding a little color with some winter accessories is the perfect way to brighten up even the coldest, dreariest winter days.

How cute are these stackable cubic zirconia eternity rings?!? Great gift idea!

Pink & Grey

Coat:  J.Crew (old, similar here), Sweater:  Gap, Pants:  Forever 21(old, similar here), Shoes:  Rock & Republic for Kohl's, Bag:  Anthropologie (old, similar here), Sunnies:  Ray-Ban

When I purchased these silver pumps from Kohl's, I never dreamed I would get so much use out of them. Whenever I'm having trouble deciding what color shoes to wear with an outfit, I reach for them. I consider them to be a neutral so I feel I can wear them with everything. Also, they look more expensive than they were ~ the other day a co-worker asked me if they were Miu Miu! She was shocked when I told her they were from Kohl's. Just proves my theory ~ you don't need to spend a million bucks to look like a million bucks.

Wishing everyone a very Happy Turkey Day.

Still plenty of time to enter my giveaway!

Hello and happy Monday readers.
I'm in an extra delightful mood this Monday morning for several reasons:
1. it's a short week {bring on the turkey}
2. Christmas music on the radio 24/7 {makes the morning commute much more bearable}
3. I'm hosting ANOTHER fabulous giveaway {'tis the season of giving}
Before I get to this week's giveaway, I would like to thank everyone who entered my Our World Boutique giveaway and congratulate my winner Melanie R. I will be contacting you shortly.
I am ecstatic to present today's giveaway as I am a huge fan of Graphic Image's products. They make fabulous leather handbags and accessories and offer monogramming for most of their products. You may be familiar with their GiGi New York line of fashion forward accessories and bags {seen here, here, here, here}.
A cute quote that sums up my feeling on personalization..."If it's not moving, monogram it!"
The winner of my giveaway will have their choice of a personalized iPhone 5 case, a fabulous gift for yourself or anyone on your holiday list. I'm kinda feeling like Santa right not that I get go host such a fabulous giveaway. Follow the instructions below to enter and good luck {ho-ho-ho}!

Oblivious

Blazer:  Helmut Lang, Tee:  Forever 21, Jeans:  Forever 21, Shoes:  Christian Louboutin, Bag:  c/o GiGi New York, Sunnies:  Ray-Ban
I wish it weren't so, but I'm definitely one of those people who isn't always completely aware of their surroundings. For example, this enormous American flag mural is painted on the side of a convenience store that I pass almost every day. I was none the wiser until my husband pointed it out to me recently.
Kinda makes me want to get out there and do some exploring this weekend.

Oxblood & Navy

Jacket:  Forever 21 (old, similar here), Jeans:  H&M (old, great alternative here), Shoes:  Rock & Republic for Kohls, Bag:  Marc by Marc Jacobs (old, LOVE this alternative)

Two of my favorite fall colors in one outfit.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week.

And of course...enter my GIVEAWAY here!

37 Days 'Till Christmas

Coat:  Zara (sold out, similar here), Bag:  French Connection, Boots:  Miss Sixty (very old, similar here), Tights:  Hue
My husband and I went on a little road trip over the weekend to see my father and celebrate his birthday.
On our way home, we took a detour through Bethlehem, PA {also known as the Christmas City} where my husband went to college. Between the festive decor we saw and the holiday music on the radio, I returned home in full holiday spirit mode.
And the countdown begins...

Our World

While Monday giveaways are always the perfect way to begin a week, I decided this week should go out with a bang, and am hosting a fabulous Friday giveaway!
I'm delighted to announce that the generous gals over at Our World, an online boutique, are giving away a $50 gift card to one lucky Classroom Couture reader.
I only recently discovered their boutique and am so happy that I did. One thing about me - no big secret - is that I'm always searching for a bargain. Anytime I purchase anything online, I will ALWAYS search for a coupon code before checking out. Nine out of ten times I come up with something even if it's just free shipping {because every little bit helps!}.
Lucky for me {and all followers of Our World Boutique}, on top of their super low every day prices, they make the coupon search super simple as they frequently post discount and promo codes on their social media sites. Better yet, shipping is only $3.95 for purchases up to $49.99 and free for all orders over $50!
With their wide assortment of vintage and trendy items from all over the world, you're bound to find  the perfect present for everyone on your list {and of course a little a little somethin' somethin' for yourself}.
Follow Our World on Facebook HERE to get the savings started.
And of course, follow the directions below to enter my fabulous giveaway. Good luck!

Tweed

Jacket:  Ann Taylor, Faux Fur Stole:  Aritzia (old, LOVING this one), Clutch:  c/o GiGi New York, Sunnies:  Ray-Ban

A very short and sweet post today. I'm way behind on my blogging this week {super busy at my job} but I couldn't leave you hanging on any longer as I promised my Wild Butterfly Boutique winner would be announced today...

Congratulations Laura! I will be contacting you shortly. Thank you to everyone who entered. Stay tuned because I have several giveaways coming up over the next few weeks ~ sure to make everyone's holiday season merry + bright.

Fire & Ice

Coat:  Bebe (very very old, great option here under $100!), Sweater:  Gap, Jeans:  Rag & Bone, Shoes:  Zara, Bag:  c/o Olivia & Joy, iPhone case:  c/o Iconemesis, Sunnies:  Ray-Ban
Over the past couple of days, the weather in NJ has taken a crazy turn and has me reaching for my coziest, chunkiest knits. I guess the sunny and mild fall weather couldn't last forever.
I felt the color combination in this outfit was in perfect harmony with the weather. My bag and iPhone case reflect the fiery colors of the leaves still left on the trees, while the chilly grey reflects the icy cold early morning temperature.
Have a happy Monday everyone ~ and don't forget, there is still time left to enter my jewelry giveaway HERE!

11.08.2013

Rocky Road

Jacket:  H&M (great alternative here), Sweater:  J.Crew, Skirt:  H&M (loving this similar option), Shoes:  Valentino, Bag:  Rebecca Minkoff, Tights:  Hue, Sunnies:  Ray-Ban, Necklace:  c/o Wild Butterfly Boutique

Possibly the worst choice of footwear for my surroundings. Rest assured, this woodsy clearing was near a restaurant that my husband and I frequent and we stopped here purely for picture purposes. I have more sense than to wear heels when hiking in the woods.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

My Birthday Suit

Blazer:  Helmut Lang, Top:  Anthropologie (old, similar here), Pants:  Gap, Shoes:  Valentino Bag:  Rebecca Minkoff, Sunnies:  Ray-Ban

I wore this outfit to celebrate my birthday over the weekend. No over the top celebration this year but my husband took me out to our favorite restaurant for a quiet romantic dinner.
I had been lusting over this Helmut Lang blazer for a very long time and finally treated myself to it as it was included in the Saks friends and family sale last month.
Happy birthday to me!

Leather Love

Jacket: Veda, Sweater: Madewell, Pants: AG Jeans, Shoes: Sam Edelman c/o SouthMoonUnder, Bag: Rebecca Minkoff, Sunnies: Ray-Ban

I'm having some serious leather love this fall season. I've always had a love for leather, but this season I've definitely taken that to the next level. This sage-colored jacket had been on my wish list for a while, when my wonderful mother {also a major leather lover} gave it to me as an early birthday present {I think maybe she thinks it's something we can share}.
Classic leather pieces are always a worthy investment in my opinion!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone. Be sure to stop by on Monday as I will be hosting a fabulous giveaway to kick off the week!
