I've been living in maxi dresses lately. Definitely the most comfortable garment for me to be wearing on these 80+ degree days.

This red number might be my all time favorite. It's so light and flowy and definitely provides ample room for my still growing bump.

While yesterday marked the unofficial end of summer, Mother Nature seems to have alternate plans. I'm so happy I didn't start packing up my summer wardrobe yet, because it's supposed to be in the 90s all week!

Looks like leather weather will have to wait for at least another week or so.

I had never heard of Tularosa before spotting this black eyelet number on Revolve Clothing the other day, but it was definitely love at first sight. I love the fit & flare silhouette. Not to mention, I'm always looking for dresses with sleeves for fall/winter. Yet another piece that I definitely plan on pairing with booties for fall.

The one thing I REALLY miss about teaching?

Summer vacation.

Therefore my new schedule leaves me longing for the weekends.

We have been lucky enough to have some wonderful weekend weather in NJ this summer. Therefore, my husband and I have been seizing the opportunity to go down the shore. 

So, when our weekends are not occupied by parties, weddings, or showers - you know where to find us.

My sister-in-law is getting married at my husband's family's lake house {aka our current residence} in FIVE days. Contrary to the title of this post, we have been doing everything but loungin'. 

My husband and I are both in the wedding party. It's going to be a spectacular event. Stay tuned for pics from Ali's big day.
