All In One

Blazer:  H&M (old, similar herehere), Top:  J.Crew (also old, loving this peplum version), Jeans:  AG via Anthropologie, Shoes:  Louboutin (budget-friendly version here), Clutch:  c/o GiGi New York, Bracelets:  Etsy (simliar here for $2), c/o Alex & Ani, C.Wonder (similar here), Nails:  Essie "Camera"
How gorg is this embossed leather clutch?!?  I was first introduced to GiGi New York back in February at the IFB conference, and I've been hooked ever since.  Their bags are buttery soft and extremely well constructed.  I'm especially smitten over this new addition to my clutch collection ~ the all in one bag.  It's big enough to fit all of my night out necessities, but small enough that I can toss it into a larger bag for work.  Best part?  It comes in 9 different colors and can be monogrammed!!

Silver Lining

Sweater:  J.Crew, Button Down:  The Limited, Skirt:  J.Crew (old, love this one), Bag:  Target, Shoes:  Rock&Republic for Kohls, Necklace:  H&M (similar here), Sunnies:  Ray-Ban, Nails:  Essie "Enuf is Enuf"
I've been on the hunt for the perfect pair of silver pumps for a while now, and {as per my usual} didn't want to spend a lot of money.  I tried out a few pairs that just didn't work for me ~ I'm very particular about the heel height/shape and the toe-cleavage factor when it comes to my pumps.  I wanted a pair that was cheap but didn't look it.
I finally settled on this gorgeous Rock & Republic pair ~ on sale for just $49 at Kohls plus I had a 20% coupon, so they ended up costing just $39.  The heel height is perfect and they show just enough toe-cleavage.  Cheap without looking it.
Metallic shoes are a summer necessity for me.  Not only do they jazz up an outfit, but I consider them a neutral ~ they go with everything.  Easy to pair with all of my summer brights.

I discovered a capacious selection metallic heels and flats at Jildorshoes.com.  I've been ordering from them for years now because I love their women's designer shoes ~ a I feel they have little something for everyone!

Some of my favorite sexy strappy picks:

1 // 2 // 3

...and of corse my favorite work-friendly flats {especially loving the Jeffrey Campbell pair on the right}:
4 // 5 // 6

It's Not Easy Being Green...

Top:  Forever 21, Skirt:  J.Crew {sold out in green} (similar here for under $30!), Shoes:  Zara (old, similar here, LOVING these), Bag:  Rebecca Minkoff, Sunnies:  Target, Nails:  Essie "Enuf is Enuf"
I'm totally taking advantage of my Florida tan while it lasts and piling on the brights.  I'm not usually a big fan of myself in green but I think the blue breaks it up just enough for me to channel my inner Kermit {I've always been a huge Muppets fan}.
As simple and basic as they are, these Zara sandals are probably my favorite and most worn from last summer.  They are comfortable, go with everything and can be dressed up or down.

My mission this summer is to incorporate more color into my shoe collection.  I've been on the hunt for a while now and recently discovered a rainbow of stylish shoes for women at infinityshoes.com.  Some of my favorites are:

The chunky heel and vibrant coral color of the Miz Mooz Parker Sandal could easily breathe some life into any casual summer ensemble.  I picture these beauties jazzing up a simple pair of distressed cut-off shorts paired with an over-sized white button-down.
As you all know, I love a fancy flat shoe for work AND I'm a sucker for all things scalloped.  The laser-cut scallop detailing makes the Primrose Flat Sandal delicate and feminine.
If you're looking for something just a tad edgier, then the Papaya Sandals are the ones for you.  An embossed sandal screams summertime glam, and that turquoise color is just perfection!

Now, which pair to buy? Perhaps I should just go for all three?!?

Short & Sweet

Blazer:  Forever 21 (old, similar here), Shirt:  Anthropologie (very old, similar here, short-sleeve option here) Skirt:  H&M (LOVING this one for just $23!!), Shoes:  Enzo Angiolini (old, similar here), Clutch:  Madison Elizabeth (similar here, LOVING this one), Watch:  DKNY (love this two-tone one ~ perfect for summer!), Earrings:  Tory Burch

Hello and happy Monday!  I'm keeping it short and sweet today.  I had a crazy weekend and this week will be even crazier as my husband and I are preparing to leave for Key West.
You may wonder why it takes me so long to pack ~ well ~ for the first time in my life, as per my husband's instructions, I am traveling with nothing but a carry on!!!  That's right, no 50lbs. of checked luggage.  His insistence came about because last year when we went to Key West, our luggage was not on our plane.  We had to wait for the next plane from NJ to FL that was carrying our luggage.
I do like the idea of not having to check bags and wait at the baggage claim, but I'm not so crazy about the idea of packing only one pair of shoes.  We will see how it goes!
...And don't forget ~ one week left to shop my STELLA AND DOT TRUNK SHOW and to enter my GIVEAWAY!!

Bright Trench

Trench:  Bloomingdales (very old, similar here), Top:  H&M (similar here), Skirt:  Anthropologie (old, loving this one), Shoes:  Valentino, Bag:  Rebecca Minkoff, Sunnies:  Ray-Ban
Here is the look from my guest post over on My Fancy Pants yesterday ~ thank you again Rosalyn for having me!
This skirt has proved to be a wardrobe staple for me.  It was easy to transition through all 4 seasons, {last worn here, here} and I get tons of compliments every time I wear it.  I think this is my favorite pairing thus far.  My bright orange trench matched it perfectly, and was just what I needed on a cool spring day.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!
