Happy Tuesday everyone!

I hope you all enjoyed a Valentine's Day filled with love, and a relaxing day off yesterday.

First and foremost, I want to apologize for the delay in revealing my Uncommon Goods giveaway winner. I intended on posting yesterday, however, fell behind schedule after being sick with the stomach bug all weekend.

~Yuck~

I learned that the only thing worse than having the stomach bug, is having it when you are pregnant. Feeling so much better today, thank goodness!

Valentine's Day Gifting and a GIVEAWAY

I'm usually not a person who gets all gaga over Valentine's day. I'm quite cynical actually. I feel that couples should try to express their love for each other as much as possible ~ not just because of the 'holiday' ~ and the times I have gone out to dinner, it's overpriced and lacking in quality.

My ideal V-day consists of making a card and a romantic home-cooked dinner for my husband.

However, on this particular V-day, I am feeling a little more mushy than usual ~ probably because of my little miracle growing inside me ~ and decided that I would go 'all out' {and by 'all out' I mean I decided to get my husband and our princess a little somethin'-somethin'}

Our baby girl is due to arrive in June and we could not be happier. After a long journey filled with many ups and downs, we feel extremely blessed. I'm 21 weeks along and have had a wonderful pregnancy thus far.

I am definitely a pump kinda gal and prefer a heel to a boot/bootie any day, however at some point in the season I have to turn in my stilettos for something that offers a bit more coverage {frost bite would not be very attractive come sandal season}.

When I purchased these silver pumps from Kohl's, I never dreamed I would get so much use out of them. Whenever I'm having trouble deciding what color shoes to wear with an outfit, I reach for them. I consider them to be a neutral so I feel I can wear them with everything. Also, they look more expensive than they were ~ the other day a co-worker asked me if they were Miu Miu! She was shocked when I told her they were from Kohl's. Just proves my theory ~ you don't need to spend a million bucks to look like a million bucks.

Over the past couple of days, the weather in NJ has taken a crazy turn and has me reaching for my coziest, chunkiest knits. I guess the sunny and mild fall weather couldn't last forever.

I felt the color combination in this outfit was in perfect harmony with the weather. My bag and iPhone case reflect the fiery colors of the leaves still left on the trees, while the chilly grey reflects the icy cold early morning temperature.
