Red + Black

Jacket:  c/o Windsor, Sweater:  Zara (old, very similar here), Jeans:  Rag & Bone, Shoes:  Zara (old, LOVE this pair), Bag:  French Connection, Sunnies:  Ray-Ban

It's been a crazy week this week. I did an event for work in NYC which was exciting and stressful {in a good way} at the same time.

Needless to say, this left me little time for blogging so I leave you on a Thursday this week. Have a wonderful weekend and I'll see y'all on Monday!

Winter Pastels

Coat:  Victoria's Secret (very very old, great option here), Sweater:  Zara (old, similar here), Jeans:  7FAM, Shoes:  J.Crew (old, similar here, here), Necklace:  Anthropologie x Bauble Bar, Sunnies:  Forever 21

The weather this weekend was absolutely gorgeous. You know you have been living in the polar vortex when 50 degrees has you super excited. This desperately-needed reprieve put me in the mood for some springy pastels, which was my motivation when getting dressed on Sunday.

I never realized what a luxury it was to be able to leave the house wearing heels rather than snow boots!

Chic and Cozy

Coat:  J.Crew (old, LOVING this similar coat), Dress:  Velvet via Anthropologie ~ also here!, Bag:  French Connection, Shoes:  Valentino, Tights:  Hue, Sunnies:  Ray-Ban

I was back and forth about this sweater dress when I first saw it because it is a LOT of leopard, but after putting it on I was completely smitten. It is the softest, coziest knit I have ever put on my bod. I've also gotten a TON of use out of it, wearing it to two Christenings, church on Christmas Eve, and work on several occasions throughout winter. It's one of those pieces that looked dressed up but feels like PJ's.

Gotta love a chic and cozy dress!

Winterized

Jacket:  H&M (similar here),  Dress:  Free People, Bag:  Rebecca Minkoff, Booties:  Anthropologie (very old, similar here), Tights:  Express, Sunnies:  Ray-Ban

We are officially more than half way finished with winter and well on our way to spring. To celebrate, I decided to winterize my favorite summer dress and twirl around in the snow to celebrate.

I may have frozen my buns off, but it was well worth it.

Happy Hump Day!

Easy Like Sunday Morning

Coat:  J.Crew (old, great option here ~ on sale!), Jeans:  Forever 21, Hat:  Anthropologie (sold out, very similar here), Shoes:  Zara (similar here), Bag:  Forever 21 (similar here), Sunnies:  Forever 21

Sunday ~ by far my favorite day of the week. The day I typically spend with my best friend/love of my life from beginning to end.

Yesterday was no exception. We went to brunch and then drove around looking for a clearing to take a photograph. It was seriously slim pickings. I'm keeping my fingers crossed as there are rumors of temps in the 50s this week!

Happy Monday!

Love is in the Air

Coat:  Zara (old, similar here), Skirt:  Urban Outfitters (old, similar here), Top:  Gap, Bag:  French Connection, Beanie:  Urban Outfitters, Tights:  Hue, Sunnies:  c/o Brickyard Buffalo

Although my husband told me I look ridiculous, I couldn't resist wearing these cheeky sunnies today. After all, love is in the air!

I feel completely refreshed and ready to face Friday after my first corporate snow day yesterday. Over the past couple of months, I've come to realize that companies are not as quick to close for inclement weather as schools are, and I have found myself braving the elements on several occasions. I was extremely surprised and elated to hear that we would be closed yesterday.

If you follow me on Instagram then you know I was all about DIY yesterday, and am especially proud of my festive mani!

Alright already ~ I'm sure you have had enough of my rambling, and are dying for me to reveal my giveaway winner. So without further adieu,  the winner is...

Congratulations Sara! I will be contacting you shorty. Thank you so much to everyone who entered my giveaway, and I hope everyone has a wonderful, romantic Valentine's Day.

Pedicure Pants

Blazer:  c/o Windsor Store, Chambray: Old Navy (very old, similar here), Jeans:  AG Jeans, Bag:  Rebecca Minkoff, Shoes:  Zara (similar here), Sunnies:  Ray-Ban

I rarely wear these jeans even thought they might be the comfiest pair that I own. My issue with them is that they are more of a straight leg than a skinny leg, and I definitely prefer my jeans to be super-skinny.

However {and I know you ladies can all relate to me}, this is the first pair that I grab when I know I will be stopping in for an after-work pedi, because it's the only pair that I can actually roll up past my calf. Skinny jeans = not good pedicure pants.

On that note, have a wonderful weekend everyone. TGIF!

Camo + Check

Jacket:  H&M (similar), Sweater:  H&M (similar), Shirt:  J.Crew (old, similar here), Pants:  Gap, Shoes:  Zara (sold out, LOVING this pair), Sunnies: Ray-Ban, Bag:  French Connection

These pictures were clearly taken during better days. This week may be an all-time mother nature low. So far we have been pummeled by two storms and according to the weather man there is a third on the way this weekend - eek! Definitely not ideal conditions for Fashion Week.

Snow, snow, go away!

Six More Weeks

Coat: Vintage (similar here), Top:  Aritzia (old, great option here), Jeans:  Rag & Bone, Booties:  Anthropologie (very old, similar here), Bag:  3.1 Phillip Lim, Hat:  Aritzia (similar here for $3), Sunnies:  Ray-Ban, Ring: c/o Lipstick Rose

Well, It's official. Our furry friend Phil sealed our fate yesterday when he saw his shadow. This unquestionably means that we are destined to endure six more LONG weeks of winter.

On a positive note, I will be hosting a GIVEAWAY next week. Stay tuned as it is sure to cure your winter woes.
