Still enjoying every minute of my week off! My husband and I took a ride down the shore yesterday to enjoy the perfect weather and do some maintnance to my mom's beach house. I love going down during the off season ~ from labor day to memorial day ~ when you basically have the beach all to yourself!!
I am off from work all week because it is winter break, and it seems as though mother nature has taken a winter break of her own. It was almost 50 degrees early this morning when I went out to run some errands and this afternoon it's supposed to reach 60!! I had to break out some of my new brighter spring clothes on this glorious day!
Coat: Forever 21(last year), Pants: AG via Anthropologie, Sweater: Forever21, Boots: Miss Sixty (old), Bag: J.Crew, Gold Spike Necklace: Fresh Grammar via Etsy, Ring: vintage (via Mom's jewelry box!), Nails: OPI 'Roadhouse Blues'
I love a great pair of knee-high boots, but have trouble finding the perfect pair to fit my chicken-legs. I need boots with a very small circumference on the top (at an affordable price!).
This pair of Miss Sixty's are almost 10 years old but are still my favorite pair of all time - I think the opening at the top is like 13"!!! They fit snugly with or without pants and they even hug my small ankles. I have not found such a perfect pair since but the quality of the leather will allow me to wear them for years to come!
Blouse: Loft, Jeans: Citizens of Humanity, Shoes: Nine West, Necklace: Forever 21, Watch: DKNY
The mid-winter blues finally hit this week and I can't stop dreaming of summer (especially the bright colored clothing that comes along with)! I find my winter wardrobe to be a bit drab as far as colors go, so I thought I'd thrown in some pops of color this week to add a little pizazz.
I found this beautiful clutch on Etsy after being inspired by Crystalin. You can visit the shop here ~ beautiful bags at affordable prices!
Blouse: Aritzia, Skirt: Bebe, Shoes: Dolce Vita, Clutch: J.Crew, Earrings: Anthropologie, Sunnies: Tom Ford
I wanted to get in a quick post before the big game starts. I wore this outfit recently to a Christening. I LOVE this blouse. The color is rich and I am a sucker for bows (although I have to admit I am HORRIBLE at tying them on myself - my husband tied it for me!!). For work, I paired the blouse with some dark trouser jeans and kept the hint of leopard with a skinny belt.
Blouse: Aritzia, Pants: Citizens of Humanity, Shoes: Zara, Clutch: J.Crew, Necklace: Luluka via Etsy, Nail polish: Essie 'Hot Coco'
Ever since I first laid eyes on leopard I have been obsessed with animal prints (maybe it's the Jersey girl in me!). Snake is a great option for a more subtle animal(reptile) print. I love these pants because they are casual enough for work but can still be dressed up, and the color is so neutral - they go with everything!
My new Zara heels were perfect for happy hour, but these were a much more practical option for work:
